Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating procurement, inventory, and logistics operations.
- Support vendor management activities, including sourcing and communication.
- Track orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Help in analyzing supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Maintain documentation for purchase orders, invoices, and shipment records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, sales) to improve processes.
- Monitor KPIs such as lead times, stock levels, and order accuracy.
Required Skills
- Technical/Business Skills:
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts (procurement, logistics, warehousing).
- Familiarity with MS Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software (preferred).
- Ability to analyze data and prepare process reports.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or projects related to supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience (internship or volunteer work) in inventory or logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with demand forecasting and procurement planning.
