Job Summary

Are you excited by the idea of driving growth and building relationships with customers? As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with the sales team to generate leads, interact with prospects, and support the sales process from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for students who want to gain hands-on experience in selling, negotiation, and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying potential customers and generating leads through calls, emails, and online research.
  • Support the sales team in scheduling meetings, product demos, and follow-ups.
  • Help maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data.
  • Prepare sales reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align on campaigns and lead-generation efforts.
  • Research competitors and market trends to suggest sales strategies.
  • Learn and apply negotiation and closing techniques under guidance.

Required Skills

  • Technical/Business Skills:
    • Basic understanding of sales funnels, lead generation, and CRM tools.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for tracking leads and conversions.
    • Familiarity with email outreach and cold-calling techniques (preferred).
    • Strong presentation and documentation skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Persuasive and confident with a customer-first mindset.
    • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
    • Good problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or certifications in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Prior experience in telesales, field sales, or campus ambassador programs (bonus).
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of B2B or B2C sales cycles.
