Job Summary

Are you curious about markets, trends, and consumer behavior? As a Market Research Intern, you’ll help gather, analyze, and interpret data to support strategic decisions. This role is ideal for students interested in research, analytics, and business insights — giving them a chance to influence marketing and product strategies with real data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in designing and distributing surveys, polls, or questionnaires.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
  • Help prepare research reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Track competitors’ products, campaigns, and market performance.
  • Support marketing and product teams with insights for campaigns or launches.
  • Suggest actionable recommendations based on research findings.

Required Skills

  • Technical/Research Skills:
    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (knowledge of charts, pivot tables preferred).
    • Familiarity with market research tools (Google Trends, Statista, SurveyMonkey, etc.).
    • Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Detail-oriented and methodical approach to research.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or certifications in marketing, analytics, business, or statistics.
  • Prior experience with surveys, focus groups, or research projects (preferred).
  • Knowledge of basic statistics or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of customer segmentation and market sizing techniques.
