Key Responsibilities

• Learn and implement test automation scripts using Selenium or Cypress
• Assist in designing and maintaining automated test suites
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Identify, report, and verify defects in collaboration with developers
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, execution, and results
• Continuously improve scripts for better coverage and efficiency
• Stay updated with new automation tools, trends, and best practices

Required Skills

• Basic programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Logical and analytical thinking to create efficient test scenarios
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or any automation tool (academic or self-learning)
• Exposure to Git / version control systems
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and writing test cases
