Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux systems
• Help monitor system performance, uptime, and resource usage
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Support user account management (creating, modifying, disabling users)
• Assist with system backups, updates, and patch management
• Document system changes, incidents, and resolutions
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure smooth operations

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to learn system administration tools and best practices
• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to server administration during academic projects or labs
• Knowledge of command-line interfaces (Linux shell, PowerShell)
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity practices
