Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot
• Design and implement database schemas for scalability and performance
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize server-side code
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with user interfaces
• Follow best practices for secure and efficient backend development
• Participate in code reviews, learn new tools, and contribute to team discussions
• Document your code and maintain technical documentation for projects

Required Skills

• Good understanding of server-side programming concepts
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend framework (Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization methods (JWT, OAuth)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
