- Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices.
- Evaluate and introduce new cloud services, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks.
- Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Coach and mentor the team, building a strong engineering culture focused on reliability, scalability, and security.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Linux/Windows systems administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancers, VPN, Firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience Range:
1–8 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Final designation (Junior / Mid-Level / Senior) will be assigned based on experience, skills, and interview performance.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and scaling strategies.
- Experience with disaster recovery, high availability, and fault-tolerant architecture.
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure projects.
- Mentoring and leadership skills (for senior roles).
- Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
