You will play a key part in ensuring seamless data exchange, real-time communication, and system interoperability within a fast-paced, growing organization. Whether you are an entry-level engineer or a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to work with modern integration tools, microservices architectures, and API management platforms, while collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Common Responsibilities (All Levels):
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and middleware solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement data transformation, orchestration, and routing logic using middleware tools or custom code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between systems and services.
- Ensure APIs and integrations are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
- Monitor and maintain API performance, uptime, and error rates.
Additional Responsibilities (Mid-Level):
- Take ownership of specific integration modules or services and ensure their reliability.
- Work on API versioning, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and lifecycle management.
- Optimize integrations for performance, latency, and throughput.
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on API design best practices.
Additional Responsibilities (Senior):
- Architect end-to-end integration solutions for complex enterprise environments.
- Lead integration strategy, API governance, and standardization efforts.
- Evaluate and implement API management platforms (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, WSO2, AWS API Gateway).
- Define best practices for security, monitoring, logging, and analytics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, conducting code reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Act as an escalation point for critical integration failures and production incidents.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
- Experience with middleware/integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, WSO2, Apache Camel, Tibco, etc.).
- Knowledge of message brokers and queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Familiarity with API management and documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).
- Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
- Good understanding of data formats and protocols (JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, gRPC).
Experience Range:
1–8 years of experience in API development, middleware engineering, or enterprise system integration.
Final designation (Junior / Mid-Level / Senior) will be determined based on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Hands-on experience with cloud integration services (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, GCP Cloud Functions).
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and streaming data pipelines.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to enterprise service bus (ESB) architectures.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to document and present technical solutions clearly.
- Ownership mindset and ability to work under minimal supervision (senior roles).
- Continuous learning attitude, especially about new integration patterns and technologies.
Benefits & Perks:
- Flexible work model (onsite / hybrid / remote).
- Competitive salary package based on skills and experience.
- Health insurance and wellness programs.
- Professional development opportunities, certifications, and training support.
- Exposure to enterprise-grade integration projects and modern API platforms.
- Career growth path toward Integration Architect or API Lead Engineer roles.
Location:
