Job Summary:
We are seeking talented Data Engineers / BI Developers at all levels (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior) to join our rapidly growing data team. You will work on building scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and developing interactive dashboards that drive key business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Common Responsibilities (All Levels):
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, process, and transform large datasets.
- Develop and optimize data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements and KPIs.
- Create dashboards and reports in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for data workflows.
Additional Responsibilities (Mid-Level):
- Take ownership of specific data pipelines or BI modules and drive performance improvements.
- Automate data validation, monitoring, and alerting for pipeline health.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver self-service analytics solutions.
- Mentor junior team members on data best practices and tools.
Additional Responsibilities (Senior):
- Architect and scale data infrastructure to support growing business needs.
- Lead data strategy discussions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies for data engineering and BI development.
- Establish data governance, standards, and documentation for the team.
- Coach and mentor junior/mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of data-driven excellence.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming skills in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, Scala, Java).
- Experience with ETL tools (Airflow, DBT, Talend, Informatica, etc.).
- Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
- Knowledge of REST APIs and data integration methods.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience Range:
1–8 years of experience in Data Engineering or BI development.
Designation (Junior / Mid-Level / Senior) will be assigned based on experience, technical skills, and interview performance.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, GCP BigQuery, Azure Data Factory).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming).
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of machine learning data pipelines or MLOps concepts.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Willingness to mentor and share knowledge (for senior roles).
