Video Production Intern

Job Summary

Are you passionate about creating high-quality videos and learning the entire production process? As a Video Production Intern, you will work closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content. This internship is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in video production, storytelling, and post-production editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and storyboarding video projects.
• Support video shoots, including setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Operate cameras during recording sessions (under supervision).
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency in all video outputs.
• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal use.
• Help organize and maintain media assets and production equipment.
• Stay updated on video trends and suggest creative ideas for new content.

Required Skills

• Technical/Creative Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of camera handling, lighting, and sound recording.
  • Familiarity with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and social media specifications.
  • Creativity in visual storytelling and basic knowledge of composition techniques.
• Soft Skills:
  • Attention to detail and passion for visual storytelling.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work under deadlines.
  • Proactiveness and willingness to learn new techniques and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in Film Studies, Mass Communication, Media Production, or related field.
• Experience with basic video production or editing projects (college work or freelance) is a plus.
• Knowledge of motion graphics or animation is an added advantage.
