Product Design Intern

Job Summary

Are you passionate about designing products that are functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing? As a Product Design Intern, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create intuitive and impactful product experiences. This internship is perfect for students who want hands-on exposure to the product design process — from ideation to prototyping and user testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces, user flows, and wireframes for digital products.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into design solutions.
• Conduct research on user behavior, competitor products, and design trends.
• Create prototypes and mockups using design tools for stakeholder review.
• Participate in user testing sessions and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and design systems.
• Support the team in preparing design documentation and presentations.

Required Skills

• Technical/Creative Skills:
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Canva.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Basic knowledge of prototyping and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with responsive design for web and mobile.
• Soft Skills:
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate designs quickly.
  • Problem-solving mindset and curiosity about user needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Previous internship, freelance project, or a strong portfolio showcasing product design work.
• Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
