Job Summary
Are you passionate about people and workplace culture? As an HR Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations. This internship is ideal for students looking to build a career in HR, talent acquisition, or people management. You will work closely with the HR team to support daily operations and help create a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment: posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and internal events.
- Assist with performance management processes and feedback collection.
- Support HR team in drafting policies, letters, and documentation.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and suggest process improvements.
Required Skills
- Technical/Business Skills:
- Basic understanding of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle).
- Familiarity with HRMS/ATS software (Zoho People, Freshteam, or similar).
- MS Office/Google Workspace skills for documentation and reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Prior internship or campus experience in recruitment or HR-related activities (plus).
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, or payroll basics is a bonus.
