Job Summary
Are you excited by the idea of driving growth and building relationships with customers? As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with the sales team to generate leads, interact with prospects, and support the sales process from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for students who want to gain hands-on experience in selling, negotiation, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential customers and generating leads through calls, emails, and online research.
- Support the sales team in scheduling meetings, product demos, and follow-ups.
- Help maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data.
- Prepare sales reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align on campaigns and lead-generation efforts.
- Research competitors and market trends to suggest sales strategies.
- Learn and apply negotiation and closing techniques under guidance.
Required Skills
- Technical/Business Skills:
- Basic understanding of sales funnels, lead generation, and CRM tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for tracking leads and conversions.
- Familiarity with email outreach and cold-calling techniques (preferred).
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive and confident with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Good problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or certifications in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Prior experience in telesales, field sales, or campus ambassador programs (bonus).
- Knowledge of sales automation tools (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce).
- Understanding of B2B or B2C sales cycles.
